Sideshift’s family of external Bow Thrusters are perfect for boats from 20’ to 60′ in length. They mount easily on the bows of motor cruisers, power boats, yachts, houseboats, pontoon boats, catamarans, trawlers and many other types. No expensive tunnel is required. Mounted externally on a V-shaped bow, the forward-most location maximizes turning power and responsiveness for easy maneuvering in narrow waterways and tight corners. Single handed sailors love the added control that a Sideshift thruster gives. It's like having an extra pair of hands just when you need it! Back confidently into a berth with the simple touch of the joystick or wireless controller. Silent and immediate response is provided by our prop-in-water design, 8” aluminum propellers, and heavy-duty water cooled motor, Saltwater proven, the rugged bow thrusters are anode protected to prevent corrosion. They are finished with anti-fouling paint over epoxy primer. All mounting locations are above the waterline. As a result, installation can be done with the boat in the water. Shipped as a complete kit with thruster, controller, hardware and single joystick, installation takes less than a day. The SS350 External Bow Thruster from Sideshift is perfect for boats up to 50′ in length; the unit mounts on the exterior of a V-shaped bow. This creates a forward pivot point that gives the boater optimum control. No expensive tunnel in the hull is required and all mounting holes are above the waterline. Offering an immediate response with its powerful water cooled 24V motor, the heavy-duty 8″ aluminum propellers quickly pull the boat quietly and smoothly. Saltwater proven, the thruster is anode protected and finished in acrylic enamel paint over epoxy primer to prevent corrosion. Shipped as a complete kit with thruster, motor controller, wireless joystick, wiring harness and mounting hardware, installation usually takes less than a day.
